Sweet Child O’ Mine is a song by Guns N’ Roses, the American rock band. It was released in 1988 as the third single from the album Appetite for Destruction (1987). The song was so popular that it topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming the only Guns N’ Roses song to do so. Slash originally had disdain for the song, but its great guitar solos and catchy riffs have made it a lasting classic.
