In this video I answer a very commonly asked question – how do I transpose a chord progression on the piano? It is a relatively simple process, it just requires some practice.
The first thing to do is make sure you are familiar with the key that you are transposing to. The next thing you need to do is to learn all of the chords as their chord number. Once you have done this, move to the new key and play the chord numbers that you have previously worked out.
I go over a couple of different examples using common chord progressions so you can see exactly how to do it.
