Learning How to Play Piano With ADHD

Anna has always loved playing the piano. It’s her escape from the challenges of her ADHD. In this video, Anna shares her story of how having ADHD impacted how she learned to play the piano.

When Anna was 8 years old, her piano instructor recommended that she choose another activity. That’s because she wasn’t completing her music theory homework for piano. Luckily for Anna, her parents chose a different approach and allowed her to continue playing with a different instructor. Anna says her love for piano helped her to discover her strengths, leading her to feel accomplished.
