In today’s lesson, we are discussing how to play piano with proper fingering technique. We discuss the different passages you will encounter when playing piano and the best fingering to use for that passage. The examples of fingering we will review the proper fingering for scale passages, trills, chords, arpeggios, and alberti bass. Included throughout is some advice for beginners on how to figure out the fingering in the music you play. When reading sheet music, you want to become aware of the type of patterns you see. What works in one instance is likely to work in others if the pattern is the same.
